What is your role at CASTUS?  

I am the Director of Operations and Accounts at CASTUS, where I work closely with our clients to serve their needs and develop strategies and solutions to help them achieve long term success. I love working with clients and cannot wait to get started building strong relationships with our partners.  

What is your education background?  

I graduated from Kent State University with a Bachelors of Science in Fashion Merchandising and a minor in Marketing.  The highlight of my education was spending an entire semester studying abroad in Florence, Italy!  It was such an incredible experience getting to immerse myself in another culture and getting to travel around Europe while attending my college courses.  

What is your experience with consulting?  

My background is in product development, sourcing, and merchandising. I’ve spent the majority of my career building businesses and brands which involves a lot of partnership, relationship building, and dedication to serving the needs of your customer/client.  The product categories I’ve worked have varied from infant clothes to hunting and fishing accessories to technical outerwear!  I spent several years working directly with vendors to build products and categories of business for my merchant partners from the ground up!  That’s where my passion for identifying opportunities and implementing strategies to achieve goals really got amplified - to take something that didn’t exist before and turn it into a business is so rewarding!  

What led you to become a consultant?  

At the end of the day, I love to build relationships with people and work together towards a shared goal.  My career thus far has awarded me such relationships that I know have made life-long impacts on me and I’m excited to further my client service experience with the CASTUS team.  

What is your most memorable experience from traveling for a client?  

I’d say all of my food experiences while traveling around Asia have been so memorable - including one where I had lunch on the 86th floor of the tallest skyscraper in Taipei!  (Did I mention I am afraid of heights?!)  I have to admit though that I am not a very adventurous eater, but I always loved seeing all of the local cuisines.  

What was the most rewarding ROI you’ve seen from your work with a client?  

Seeing a launch of a new brand has been the most rewarding experience for me.  There are so many long months of hard work and dedication that go into making a new launch successful and it’s rewarding when those first sales start to roll in.
